Welcome at software.sileman.pl!

Sileman Sp. z o.o. develops software for processing and analysing digital television transport streams conforming to DVB/MPEG standards.

The software we are presenting on this site has been developed primarily for our own usage - to help us maintain a digital cable television headend. We have used it in our headend as a replacement for solutions offered by "big" companies, which we had found not enough flexible or just too expensive for our small company. In the mean time it occured, that our products arouse interest of our friends from the industry. Some other small cable companies in Poland decided to deploy our solutions, viewing them as reasonably priced and satisfying the real needs of technicians.

As an efect, in 2009 we put a lot of effort in preparing our flag tools so that they can be employed in various environments. At the moment we can offer the following, well-tested software packages:

  • tre1000 - realtime MPEG-4 to MPEG-2 converter,
  • dvbinspektor - realtime DVB/MPEG streams analyser,
  • pidfilter - elementary streams filter for MPEG-TS streams,
  • epgs - extended EPG stream generator,
  • other - GPL-licensed, DOCSIS-related software,

There is also a program in development, which we currently use as a redundant backup for other, hardware solutions:

  • dvbmux - software MPEG-TS multiplexer, running on the RTLinux real time system.

Please use the menu at the top of the page to see more information on our products.
